Customer is a small non-standard automation workshop in Dongguan with about 10 people.
They used to wire terminals directly. Installation at customer sites took a full day. After-sales maintenance was a headache.
A peer introduced them to M8/M12 connectors. First trial: 200 units M12 A-code 4-pin for 3 labeling machines.
After 2 months of positive feedback, they gradually switched all sensor signals, solenoid valves, and encoder connections to M12.
Now orders 4-5 times per year, 1,000-1,500 units each batch. Mainly M8 3-pin and M12 A-code 5-pin.
